The Schlangen's Visit Again

Hey, more visitors! Henry likes visitors. We've had a lot and he loves it. The more people there are to play with him, the happier he is. So everyone come back soon. Or if you haven't been out for a visit in Henry's natural habitat, come see the little animal at work!

Ok, so this was a while ago, but better late than never. Joe and Cory came out for a few days in September to get a Henry fix. Henry got to stay home from day care and play with them all day. Fun, fun!

Henry pulls himself up on everything. He even pushes this chair around now when he gets the urge.

Henry likes to pull out the grass in the yard one blade at a time. Dad's hoping he'll get good enough at it that we won't have to mow the lawn anymore. Here's Pa teaching Henry the proper way to eat it once it's pulled.

A moment of great enthusiasm and energy....

Followed by a short break...

But not for long. Henry figures if he can't walk yet, that's not going to stop him from carrying his toys around. Here he's bringing along Meme's camera case a la the doggie method.

Meme and Pa took Henry to the experimental gardens a few blocks from our house. They always have lots of new varieties of flowers there.

Helping out the flowers with some blue. Henry with Meme.

No real reason for this one. I just just think it's funny. Little Budda belly.

One of his favorite shirts.

This is one of Henry's favorite spots. There's lots to hang on to and if you bonk your head against the table it makes a good noise. He's very into good noises right now. Other places to bonk your head - basement door, cabinets, Dad's head.

Showing off my cool shirt and stylin' pants with Meme. I like my pants because I get to look like Elmer the elephant (one of Henry's favorite books).

Note to other babies - if you hold Mom's hair when you suck your thumb while falling asleep, she can't get away.... easily. Henry's a master of this little known art.
