Some from May and June

We've been very busy lately. Here's a post to keep the masses satisfied. Just some random pictures from May and June...

Instead of going home, Henry and I went downtown one day after work. They have these old pianos in several places around town where people can just sit down and play. It always amazes me how many talented musicians there are around (and how much bad music gets produced, but that's a different story...). Henry was really interested in watching the hammers and pads work on the inside of the piano while this 8 year old was playing Bach (pretty well by the way).

They had some drummers downtown who were doing a participatory concert. They had 5-gallon buckets and drum sticks lying around that the kids could use to play along with. Henry wasn't terribly interested in playing, but he was interested in the bubble machine and all the kids who were playing in the bubbles.

After that we had some pizza. When Henry finished before dad, he went over to the window to watch all the cars and people going by.

Nana also came to town. I failed to take many pictures, but here are some Jamie took when they went to the barber shop so Henry could get his hair cut. Usually he sits on Mom's lap, but he insisted on sitting on Nana's lap this time.

More to come when I have some time...
