Portraits

Not much of a storyline here, this one's mostly for the grandparents....

We went to the flower garden near our house to take some family portraits. We just had the camera on timer for all of the pictures of the three of us, so we were a little limited in what we could get. I wouldn't say any of them are outstanding, but at least there are some pictures of the three of us together.

Henry found a white lined sphinx moth (I only know this is what it is because somewhere along the way we picked up a pocket guide to Colorado moths and butterflies...) which had gotten wet when the sprinklers turned on. He held it gently until it dried off and flew away.

He can be so serious sometimes.

After pictures it was time to get back on our bike for the ride home. He decided he would try clipping his own helmet.

Back at home. It's easy to get a smile out of him when it's not for posterity.
